- 1 cup honey (or Sucanat) can also use maple syrup, molasses or brown sugar. [Honey is best to use for Passover, but this recipe is excellent with any sweetener.]
Step 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepares a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray.
Step 2. In a small dish, mix the salt, baking powder and cinnamon. Set aside.
Step 3. In a large bowl, cream the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
Step 4. Add eggs in one at a time, beating well after each egg.
Step 5. Add flour mixture and beat just until combined.
Step 6. Pour batter into the prepared springform pan and bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
