- 3 scallions, chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp kecap manis or sweet soy sauce

Step-1. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Grasp one piece of crab meat between your index finger and thumb, then lightly press the meat to form a rough oval. You can mold the meat further by pressing it with your spoon or spatula. Repeat until all formed crab mixture is complete.
Step-2. Cook the crab meat in the frying pan until it’s dry and crispy. Place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil, waiting for 10 minutes.
Step-3. In the meantime, mix all the other ingredients into a bowl. Mix well until it’s uniform, then put in the prepared crab meat pieces and mix again. Once everything is mixed well, shape into 4 pieces of crab meat mixture using your hands or a small ice cream scoop.
Step-4. Heat a little bit of cooking oil in the frying pan, and cook the crab cakes until golden brown. Serve with rice.
Note: Uncooked lion’s mane can be found in seafood markets where they are sold live.
If you cannot find lion’s mane crab meat, use snow crab meat instead.
