- diced 2 cloves of garlic
- minced 2 tablespoons of curry powder
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 tablespoons of Mexican chocolate
Step 1: Heat the olive oil in a saucepan, then saute the onion for about 5 minutes.
Step 2: Next, add the spices to the onions and continue to saute for another 2 minutes.
Step 3: Add in the peppers and cook until the peppers are softened around 10 minutes.
Step 4: Add in the stock and boil, then reduce to low heat for about 20-30 minutes or until chili sauce is reduced by half.
Step 5: In the same saucepan, add the chili powder and cook for another minute.
Step 6: Add in the chocolate sauce and stir to combine.
Step 7: Add the chili sauce to the pot and stir to combine.
Step 8: Serve with some rice, beans, and tortilla chips.
