- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 tbsp Cooking oil

1. Sieve the all-purpose flour. If you have whole wheat flour, sieve it with the all-purpose flour. Make a well in the middle of your flour and add the ghee or clarified butter.
2. Now heat 1-2 tbsp of water in a pot and add sugar. Allow it to boil until it forms a syrup.
3. Now, place the syrup in a pot, add the cooking oil, and turn the heat to low. Add the ghee cardamom to it and stir continuously.
4. Once the mixture starts boiling, add it slowly into your flour mixture without making any lumps. The mixture should be runny with no bubbles and thin as you pour it into another pan to set it up, as this will make a fluffier dessert when it sets in your pan.
5. Once the mixture is cooled down, place it in a pan and again with a spoon, make small holes on the surface so that it sets properly and turns into nice lumps.
6. Place it in your pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes until golden brown. Please remove it from your pan and cover it with parchment paper to prevent bubbles. Allow cooling for about 15 minutes to set up completely and enjoy your Diwali.
