Step 2: Remove from heat and allow to cool down for 1 minute. Now grind the curry patta into a fine paste (make sure no large chunks remain).
Step 3: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan on medium flame. When hot, add the cumin powder and coriander powder and saute until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Step 4: Add the asafoetida, red chilly pepper, and saute for 30 seconds.
Step 5: Add the curry paste, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
Step 6: Turn off the heat. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy with rice or roti!
